My husband (Gary) and I live in Olympia, Washington, with our wonderful Leo, Lucy. We first found out about Leonbergers when we attended the Seattle Kennel Club dog show in March of 2006. We were there to talk to Bernese Mountain Dog breeders and did a double take when we saw these large, beautiful dogs down one of the aisles – we were smitten and never looked back. Two months later we added Lucy to our family and joined LCNW. Lucy and I are working on Rally, and I hope to someday involve her in a school or library reading program. I am already making plans to add a second Leo to our family next year.

I was elected Secretary of LCNW in August of 2007. As secretary, I’m involved with taking notes at meetings; maintaining the membership roster and e-mail list; notifying the members of upcoming shows and other events; reporting show results to the LCA points secretary, show committee, and LeoLetter; handling correspondence; and working on other projects as needed. I am looking forward to becoming more involved with the club and getting to know all of you better.

Please feel free to contact me if you’d like to be added to or removed from our membership list, if your e-mail address or other information changes, or if you have any questions I might be able to help answer.
